Hello friends,
the days a new, very rare RNMA 6/1 came to my herd! There are said to be 6 pieces, but 6377 is the only known one with an 8 "barrel. The other two known ones have been shortened to 5.5". It should be prototypes!




6/1 can be recognized by the closed handle. The authenticity of the revolver is proven by the coin, as it was explicitly described in the large Centaure book.

Hello my French friends!


I have been away tending to family Alzheimer duties, so pardon my absence.


I find it somewhat humorous that an imbedded US Buffalo Nickel coin is used to identify this Belgian Centaure revolver, given that the coin was minted from 1913 to 1938. Neither date has any significance to the Centaure nor to the original 1860 Army revolver.


I thought all of you might be interested in these Centennial Arms advertisements from a copy of Guns Magazine , June 1962. These are all Centaure guns.

About the big Centaure book, unfortunately it is no longer available.
About the coin: The coin is only described in the book of the Centaurs in connection with the 6/1! No historical or valuable meaning, but since this is what makes a unique identification, I didn't want to leave it unmentioned.

Yes. The images are scanned copied from Guns Magazine June 1962.
